Olivier MARC accumulates over 20 years of activities related to development strategies and finance, among which 15 years have been exclusively dedicated to China. He has been heading Euro China Capital since 2004 and spent 6 years in Hong Kong as Greater China CFO for the German group MAN Roland. In-between, he worked as an M&A banker for JPMorgan in New York and as Vice-President Finance for Alstom Grid.
Olivier is the author of “Business Made in China – Stratégies d’Acquisitions et de Partenariats” (Choiseul, 2010), contributor to “Dix Grandes Questions sur la Chine” (CEPII, 2007) and regularly participates to conferences and media interviews.
Olivier was twice appointed National French Trade Advisor (by Ministerial Decree), twice board member of the MEDEF Comité France Chine and Hong Kong France Business Partnership. Beside, he founded the Insead China Club in France, and was appointed in 2015 board member of the CEPII Business Club. Previously, he co-chaired the M&A working group at the Beijing bureau of CCIFC.
Olivier obtained a Masters degree of Audencia, a Duke University Fuqua Fellowship, the IHEDN Business Intelligence Certificate and the Insead AMP degree.
Olivier lives in Paris and works in English and French. During his leisure time, Olivier is a keen sailor, life-member of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club.
